Jeremy Oliver

With over 20 years in emergency response, I’ve built my life around helping others. I currently serve with CFB Halifax Fire Service, and I’ve also volunteered with Halifax Regional Fire and trained as a medic in the Canadian Army Reserves.

For more than two decades, I’ve taught first aid through organizations like St. John Ambulance and the Canadian Red Cross, and was proud to be named Instructor of the Year. I also have 14 years of mental health experience, and I bring that perspective into every course because I believe first aid training should support both physical and emotional well-being.

I lead a nationally recognized program for the Canadian Coast Guard and continue to offer practical, hands-on training that builds confidence. Whether I’m teaching in the classroom or working in the field, I’m passionate about helping people feel prepared and capable.
